Upgrading or expanding an active manufacturing facility is an inherently filthy process. However, in the ultra-sensitive worlds of Semiconductor Fabrication (Wafer Fabs), Pharmaceutical processing, and Aerospace engineering, shutting down production to build a wall is financially impossible. Facility managers must erect temporary walls to isolate the dirty construction zone from the active ISO Class 5 or Class 7 cleanrooms. Utilizing standard drywall (gypsum board) is a catastrophic error—the cutting and sanding generates a microscopic blizzard of calcium sulfate dust that will permanently destroy millions of dollars in microchips. The only material cleared for rapid, clean-zone construction is sterile PP corrugated sheets.
Semiconductor processes operate at the nanometer scale. A single particle of airborne drywall dust landing on a silicon wafer ruins the entire processor. Facility managers often attempt to use thin polyethylene plastic sheeting (tarps) to separate rooms, but the negative-pressure airflow rips the flimsy plastic, immediately compromising the sterile environment.
MingPlastics delivers heavy-duty structural screens that bridge the gap between permanent walls and temporary necessity.
Do not let facility maintenance ruin your production yields. Build your temporary containment zones with military-grade clean polymer.
